06.01.2012 - Federal Network Agency reports record numbers for photovoltaics in December
December last year apparently saw a sharp rise in the number of photovoltaic systems reported to the Federal
Network Agency in Germany. A total capacity of 3,000 Megawatt was installed, reports the "Handelsblatt" under
reference to the German Press Agency.
12.10.2011 - Solar power: Usage on the up, costs remain stable
Consumer apportionment for solar power stable. The spread of solar power usage is no longer a reason for
increasing electricity prices. Over recent years, a sharp drop in production costs and considerably reduced
reimbursement rates for solar power have meant that even intense continued spreading of photovoltaic
installations in Germany will barely have an effect on electricity pricing.
